Canadian Indigenous Business Export Support Program Opportunity:
The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service is organizing an Indigenous business delegation to Dallas, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that will precede the Seventh International Indigenous Trade Mission and Conference in Norman. Participants from Canada will connect with industry leaders and learn about supplier diversity and supply chain opportunities in the southern U.S. market. For more information to be provided shortly. Canadian Indigenous businesses may be interested to know that the Department of Global Affairs, Government of Canada, has recently offered to provide assistance to Canadian Indigenous businesses, by helping defray costs for attending our trade mission conference under their Indigenous Business Export Support Program.
Their deadline to submit applications for the June Trade Mission is typically early May 2020. Successful Indigenous Business Export Support Program applications provide up to a 75% rebate on expenses associated with the Indigenous Trade mission (travel, legal, publicity, sponsorship, promotion, etc.).
